Terms of use

Kivio lets you generate music with GWEN, our AI model. By using Kivio you agree to use it lawfully and not to attempt to clone a real person's voice or impersonate an artist.

What you get when you generate a track

You receive a commercial-use license to the audio you generate: you may use, release and monetise it, subject to these terms. Because the track is created by an AI system, it is important to understand what that license is and is not.

• Under current US and Nigerian law, a purely AI-generated work is not protected by copyright. We therefore grant you a contractual right to use the output, but we cannot grant you an exclusive copyright in it, and we cannot stop a third party who independently generates a similar output.
• If you add meaningful human authorship (your own lyrics, arrangement, performance or editing), the human-created parts may be protectable. We encourage this, and most streaming platforms prefer it.

How our model was trained

GWEN is trained only on music that InterSpace Distribution owns or has licensed with AI-training consent. We do not train on scraped or third-party recordings we lack rights to. Clean provenance is core to how we build.

Near-duplicate protection

Every track you download is screened with audio fingerprinting. If an output matches an existing recording too closely, we flag or block it before delivery to protect you and the original artists.

AI disclosure

All audio created on Kivio is generated by AI. We label it as such, and we support the DDEX AI-disclosure fields when you distribute a track, declaring which elements are AI-generated. Some distributors restrict or reject fully-AI music; we recommend adding human contribution and disclosing honestly.

Privacy

We collect the minimum needed to run Kivio: your account details, the prompts and tracks you create, and basic usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data.

• Your creations. We store your generations so you can access them.
• Ratings. When you rate outputs, we store your anonymous preference to improve GWEN. This is aggregate and not tied to your identity in any published dataset.
• Payments. Handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
